Cinémoi - Interational Fashion Film Awards

Having earned such enthusiastic supporters as Monica Bellucci, Jane Birkin, Jacqueline Bisset, Michael Caine, Vincent Cassel, Martin Landau, Martin Scorsese, and so many more, the internationally-acclaimed lifestyle channel, aimed at discerning viewers, is a 24-hour network showcasing curated films and high couture festivals new to the U.S. television market.

The IFFA’s will take place on July 27, 2014, at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California, and will be broadcast on Cinémoi on August 3, 2014. The awards gala is being produced by the team behind top live Hollywood awards events, with a guest list of top figures from both the worlds of entertainment and fashion.

The nominated films are selected and curated by a distinguished jury of elite figures from the field of fashion with the winners being announced during the awards celebration. The IFFA’s promise to be one of the world’s most glamorous events, marrying the magic of filmmaking and the art of haute couture and design.

The Arrivals Show for Red/White Carpet IFFAs

The Arrivals Show for the Red/White carpet will be broadcast globally live and online on Cinémoi. The idea is to have the talent and fashion elite feel like they’re on the streets of Paris as they arrive, with Parisian street lamps and a white carpet creating elegance and glamor. The carpets will then feature multiple platforms for interviews with media from all over the world. The Hollywood Reporter has already asked for a stage with their internationally-known fashion reporter Merle Ginsberg on the carpet. And Cinémoi will have multiple platforms and air the only LIVE show from the carpet, with celebrity hosts to be selected closer to the date of the event.

Cirque du Soleil and Cinémoi

We’re all made of dreams.

The exclusive performance will be born out of a fusion between Cirque du Soleil and Cinémoi, both sharing a passion for evoking emotions, invoking memorable experiences and remaining at the leading edge of creativity and innovation. And for these two inspirational brands to collaborate was instantly organic, seamless, and a cultural sensation given their shared core values.

"Fashion" is a direct inspiration from the vivid, playful costumes that adorn the performances of Cirque du Soleil. The details and handcrafted prints are executed with the most painstaking care while conveying an artisan feel. With its tribal, vibrant looks, it feeds from the multicultural aspects of the shows while remaining closely aligned to Cinémoi’s DNA.

The International Fashion Film Awards will feature a unique and exclusive performance inspired by the Cirque du Soleil collection; fashion and apparel that were a joy to produce and a celebration of fashion, theatrics and creativity. Each garment in the collection features a small piece of costumes worn by a Cirque du Soleil artist, a testament to Cirque du Soleil’s authenticity and the magic of Cinémoi.

The IFFA’s are honored to showcase the fashion, costumes, make-up and personality from the Cirque du Soleil shows. The creativity of Cirque du Soleil will be apparent in each and every one of the garments and accessories in the collection: they express the rich colorful characters of the different universes, the originality of the costumes and, above all, the vast array of emotions drawn by the shows. An amalgamation between art, design, and entertainment.
