Dominique Michon, a young designer from Holland, launched a Kickstarter to raise money for her unique new fashion accessory company, Heel Up. Providing an easy and affordable way to jazz up high heels, Heel Up accessories allow endless looks for every occasion. Dominique has already launched Heel Up in Tokyo, Milan, Amsterdam and Antwerp and now seeks funding through Kickstarter to bring her vision to life in markets around the world.
Dominique comments: “The inspiration behind Heel Up basically came from having a taste for high fashion on a university student’s budget. I made the first Heel Up prototypes with the goal of dressing up an old pair of my heels to wear to a holiday party and was surprised at the number of compliments I received on my old shoes!"
A young designer and entrepreneur, Dominique has already launched her product internationally and was selected for the VIVA400 entrepreneur award in 2014.
The 2014/2015 Heel Up collection features eight handmade designs, including Do not Cheetah on Me, Furry French, Black Incredible, Desire Me, Flora, Ms. Metal, Du Freaque Chic and Sweet Flamingo. Heel Ups attach easily by a simple, small elastic strap that is wrapped around the heel to instantly provide a fashion boost that lasts throughout the day and into the night. All Heel Ups are made of high quality materials and are endlessly reusable.
Heel Up is currently running a 30-day Kickstarter campaign that aims to raise €2,500 to support expansion into additional markets and bring easy, affordable shoe fashion to fashion-conscious people throughout the world. Visit the Heel Up Kickstarter page to help support Heel Up.
