EYES IN's Editor-in-Chief, Vivian Van Dijk, attended the Jun Takahashi fashion show for his Undercover brand at Salle Wagram at Avenue de Wagram in Paris:
"If 'Fashion Street Wear' could talk, it would be very jealous of Jun Takahashi's new Winter Autumn 2014 collection. Jun Takahashi has put together a mix of styles, materials, colors and tribal tributes that fuse together with an edginess of street-wear nonchalance. A liberating AW14 collection is the result. The designs look as though Takahashi allows you to effortlessly be the most trendy, self-made designer in a heartbeat. This is what strong design is all about. His strong use of 'one color outfits' and multiple layers, that look like so natural fitting, are the combination that brings comfort clothing together with a rock-sexy expression." -Vivian Van Dijk

Fashion designer Jun Takahashi was born in 1969 in Kiryu, Japan. This designer creates the coolest possible streetwear for the Japanese people. Through the fine processing and accurate production of all the pieces, the result looks curious but also beautiful. With his label, which he named 'Undercover,' Juni made his debut in Paris back in 2002, before an important audience such as Comme des Garcon’s Rei Kawakubo. He likes to develop a rebel, “anti-" aesthetics fashion, greatly inspired by the punk street style. All of his garments are deliberately deconstructed, reconstituted, slashed, emblazoned with powerful graphics. It is in the young, the rebel spirits, that Undercover finds its fandom.
