The event “Generous People” gathered 200 guests in the prestigious Big Lounge of the Carlton Hotel in the presence of his Highness Prince Norodom Ravichak of Cambodia; Tom Bernard, President and co-Founder of Sony Pictures Classics; Didier Le Bret, Director of the Center of Crisis of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Enzo di Taranto, Representative of the United Nations; Amaury Nolasco, a leading Haitian actor; Jimmy Jean-Louis; top model Inna Zobova, and Victoria's Secret Angel Martha Streck.
The event is supported by the high patronage of the Presidential Advisory Council for Economic Growth and Investment in Haiti, co-chaired by the former President of the United States Bill Clinton and Georges Mevs.
For the occasion, The Heart Fund brought together the representatives of the Cinema around an exceptional dinner.
There were presentations of two shorts films on the work of the Heart Fund in Haiti, helping Haitians with the finances needed to get proper care for heart health issues.
There were two wonderful performances from Gary Dourdan (best known for the TV series “CSI: Las Vegas”) and Tichina Rolanda Arnold (“Martin,” “Everybody Hates Chris”), and music was by acclaimed international DJ Stephane Pompougnac, known for his music compilation “Hotel Costes.”
