Selena Gomez's Perfume Coming to Macy's this May
Selena Gomez asked her fans for help in designing her signature fragrance. Now she's announcing that the votes are in and have been tallied, and she's sharing which fragrance 'notes' will be used.
According to a report from Just Jared, Selena's new fragrance will be available for purchase starting in May, and fans can buy it at their local Macy's store. Several weeks ago Selena had a list on her special fragrance web site, and she asked fans to check which fragrance 'notes' they would like to see incorporated into her signature perfume.
The chosen scents are presently featured on Selena's fragrance site, called Selena Gomez Perfumes. You can see winning 'notes' there, or read the following thank you note that Selena wrote to all participants.
"Hi guys! Thank you so much for participating in helping me create my new fragrance! You have picked raspberry as my top note, purple freesia as my heart note, and vanilla as my base note. I am very excited to share this new perfume with each and every one of you," Selena Gomez wrote.
"Please stay tuned for information regarding the launch of my fragrance, available at Macy's this May, and for the announcement of our 10 lucky winners who will be flown out to New York to help me make my final decision. Again, thank you for your help!"
Can you imagine how excited those ten winners will be? And fans who voted for the chosen fragrance 'notes' are likely very pleased with their selections, too. They likely can't wait to smell the finished product when it goes on sale in May 2012.
