Innovative Designer Carlos Faria's A Moment
Following its presence in Milan – Via Tortona, in April 2011, and New York at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), in May 2011, So True is honored to invite you to thepresentation of the new “A Moment” collection.
The work of Designer Carlos Faria, this collection seeks to constitute a challenge to the concepts of movement and values. The movement of wind, lightand color that pass by all of us, and over the course of our days; the movement of values, history, customs and wisdom surrounding man over the course of time.
The human being has always served as the inspiration for the works of Carlos Faria. The human being is at the heart of any piece of an anthropological nature, directed at the complete being. His persistent character and, most of all, his passion for creating always cause him to pay attention to detail.
It is because all movements involving the human being occur at a givenmoment, becoming simultaneously eternal, that designer Carlos Faria sought tore-create and describe, in this new collection, the dynamics of human life,comprising everything we see and feel.
Carlos Faria feels that furniture is vital for edifying the soul of any venue and which has to bear something, along with its shape with a purpose, to arouse the senses. Behind every object, there has to be reason, logic, reasoning, as if we were dealing with the blend of music, painting, sculpture, poetry, and having the energy to describe the designer’s lifestyle.
“A Moment”, which will be presented at the Salone Internazionale DelMobil 2012 – Milan.
