The exhibition has shown Grace Kelly's glamorous image, attractiveness and evolution as Princess Grace of Monaco. The outfit that she wore when she met Prince Rainier in 1955, her haute couture dresses from the 60’s and 70’s designed by her favorite designers were are addressed. Her favorite designers were Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Yves St Laurent.
Both on screen and off, Grace Kelly was also an ambassador of simple American fashion such as waist accentuating dresses. Grace Kelly also became famous for her sublime accessories and love for hats and short white gloves. Many of these outfits were shown in the Victoria & Albert museum, together with the spectacular sun glasses and the original ‘Hermes Kelly purse.'
